Space is a dog after anyone's heart, and lap. He is a snuggler of immense skilll, inherited from his mother, Mystery. He hugs, snuggle, leans, rubs, paws and kisses anyone that will take the time to hang with him. He also loves being carried like a baby, a feat not to be performed by the weak of back.

Space also inherited a lack of pain receptors and his great hunting skill from his father, Fox. Space has not mysteriously injured himself in days <vbg>, he is prone to silly mishaps that always have me wondering what he does when I'm away. On the hunting front, he has proven keen after rabbits and coyotes, but he's become a specialist in magpies. He worked long and hard to perfect cat-like stalking techniques to be able to catch the birds. Now he's an Ace, bagging some every week.

But his lifestyle is Playboy. He enjoys playing, whether it's tag, fetch, wrestling, or mouth fencing. He's always up for any game. His sens of humor and fun is unsurpassed by any other silken here. That dispostion is a bright spot of sun everyday, regardless of the weather.

Space recently received his CGC title and spent most of the class being the class clown. Never disobedient, he added his own touch of flare to every command. This has continued with more work on obedience and make me know Space will never excel at formal obedience. Creative Interpretive Obedience perhaps. Currently he has 6 types od "downs", 4 "sits", 3 different "stays' and is working on giving his recalls some flair. Never have any obedience classes laughed more than when Space was around.

Space had a wonderful showing at Boofest's Western Regional Specialty being honored with Best in Show, Opposite Sex. I have great hopes for him in the future. In March 2006, Space finished both his Rarities and his ISWS Championships. And in 2007 Space repepated his BOS at the Boofest held in Antioch. There's something about this guy ;-)
